Sup!
Here is a brief update of our progress in VEX, as well as an exploration of the Teensy 3.0, as well as a project that I finished a few weeks back!

Misc. Projects
Hey,
I have been posting ALOT today, mostly to catch up on the 9 months where I failed to post anything. In between the robotics team, I have a few ideas planned out. Now I'm just planning them out.

ROV 2012 - 2013
Hey guys!
ROV has now officially started and we have our new team roster for this year! With only 5 returning members out of a team of 13. Things will be tricky to get going, however I am confident we will be able to handle this well.

VEX Sack Attack Drive Train
Hey,
If you read my post on our vex transmission system last year, you would know that is consists of multiple motors that are switched to two different outputs depending on which output is locked by pneumatics. There was also a planetary gearset that would fuse inputs to form one output, essentially allowing us to have a dedicated drive motor so we could move. This year we decided to simplify things by taking out the planetary gearset. However we are keeping the differentials due to the flexibility offered by the ability to switch motors to different outputs. Labyrinth
Hey,
For the past few days, I have been working on a labyrinth similar to the one Google made as shown here:

Summary of past 9 months
Hey again, back from 9 months of not posting! I kinda got lazy after robotics kicked up. Anyways I just wanted to summarize some of the progress made with VEX. We finished the robot, however I predict that is is only operating on 50% efficiency. Here is a post I made on vexforums with the username "anthonyl14107096" with an in depth description of our robot.

Here is a picasa album of our overall build: https://picasaweb.google.com/1126063...426/Drivetrain
And a video link of things in work: http://youtu.be/c1Ax40bncBQ
Here is an engineering notebook that we created for our system: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hlz07yskf55qilh/4194B%20ProjeXt.pdf
